7 Habits of High Effective People
Very interesting book. I first heard of it a friend of mine, Mark, mentioned it during a casual conversation.
Overall I quite enjoyed how this book re-emphasized similar sentiments to the subtle art of not giving a f*ck as both
books talk about the importance of knowing what you have control over.
My biggest take away from this book would have to be the human centered message. Although the title suggests it focuses on yourself
I think it emphasizes the importance of other humans in your life. Many of its life lessons connect to how you interact with other
people instead of how you act for yourself.
Topics such as the emotional bank, p/pc balance, win-win mentality all deal with the human relation we hold. Through this,
I've realized the importance of maintaining real connections.
A big realization was the fact that talking behind other's backs even to other people does not build trust. You might think
talking about other people with someone builds trust but it also makes them doubt your trustworthiness if you so easily
tell them about someone else. It makes you question double standards and think about how you interact with different people.
